City Hall Elopement Shoot Turns into Real Life Proposal
Who doesn’t love a good love story! The best part of our job is we get to be a part of love stories all the time. We had been planning a city hall elopement shoot for a couple of weeks when we were approached by Jorge to help him find a unique way to propose to Eunice. We decided on featuring them as our couple in our styled shoot.
The inspiration behind the shoot was simple, intimate elegance of elopement. Featuring the pantone color of the year we decided on gorgeous reds, purple and black. The couple both wore timeless, sophisticated black attire reminiscent of Aubrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Accessorizing the bridge with the elegant, simplicity of a birdcage veil and diamonds.
The romantic, historic sites of the City of El Paso and the upscale elegance of the The City Hall Grill at Southwest University Park provided the perfect backdrop for this couple’s intimate getaway. Unbeknownst to Eunice, this was not an ordinary styled shoot. On the Woof Top Deck of Southwest University park, Jorge has arranged for his and Eunice’s family to join him in what was to become a real-life proposal. Jorge and Eunice had been a dating a little shy of five years and he knew she was the one.
As Eunice exited onto the roof and turned the corner, Jorge stood amidst a sea of candles, rose petals and the bright lights of the City of El Paso as the backdrop. Surrounded by their family, Jorge got down on one knee and asked Eunice to be his wife. He presented to her a breathtaking custom, diamond ring that had been designed for Eunice by her own father.
